I am passionate about learning and understanding, which led me into the fields of science, computers, mathematics, linguistics, and philosophy, among others. I am not the most experienced but am excited to learn and share my knowledge with others.As an interdisciplinarian I seek to understand many fields at significant depth and breadth, with the skills to apply ideas and techniques across disciplines and know how and when to get expert support to make those ideas viable. You can read more about interdisciplinarity in the link below.https://press.rebus.community/idsconnect/chapter/basic-terms/I have always been curious and exploratory, making games in excel, and BSU "math circles" (during the 2014-2016 school years) and TVMSC (treasure valley math and science center).While serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I had the opportunity to learn about and get involved in a Stop Smoking program in Utah and teach English to immigrants in Ontario, Canada. I learned that I love to teach and help others in a personal, meaningful way and pursued teaching English upon my return.• Member of the NSHSS, ex-member of the National Honor Society and a member of The Boy Scouts of America• Passionate learner• Returned missionary (I served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints)I would have been able to become an Eagle Scout, but by the time I managed to pass the swim test I was too old to obtain my Eagle before I became 18, due to the time requirements in each rank before you can progress. I have all the requirements for an eagle besides the final eagle project.I became a member of the National Honor Society in the 2015-2016 school year, but due in large part to schedule conflicts with the science club during the lunch period, I was removed as a member.
