I have always loved solving problems and learning about the human body. Pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering has allowed me to put the two passions together. Being motivated by wanting to help others and further humanity, I have learned that biomedical engineering can allow me to impact individuals every day. I have been able to use my technical and leadership abilities to lead cross-functional teams to help bring useful devices to needed markets. Through those experiences, I have been able to develop my problem solving ability, and utilize it to find root causes and implement corrective actions. I have also been able to learn how to communicate clearly and efficiently to push tasks and projects forward. Best of all, I have had the privilege of working with exceptional engineers and I hope to help mimic that with the people that I work and interact with.
