Summit Spice & Tea Co. is located in Anchorage, Alaska and is a locally owned spice, tea & specialty food company with over 16 years of experience in the industry. We carry over 150 pure spices and spice blends. Our spice blends range from traditional (Pie Spice, Poultry Seasoning, etc.) to uniquely Alaskan blends like our Slammin’ Salmon Fish Rub or Tongass Game Rub. In addition to spices we also source and blend over 130 different teas and herbal infusions from around the world. Last year alone we sold 3.5 tons of tea making us Alaska’s largest tea supplier.We blend and package all of our products locally at our 3,000 square foot facility in midtown Anchorage. This allows us to be a Made in Alaska certified company. Summit Spice & Tea Co. is also active in the community. Last year alone we donated to over fifty local charitable organizations. In addition we recently partnered with the Blood Bank of Anchorage to host our first blood drive.Originally located in South Anchorage, the current owners, Audrey Paule and Alex Page, moved the retail store to midtown in 2011. The new, centrally-located retail store saw annual revenue almost double in just the first 2 years of operation. Looking to improve and expand production they also opened a separate production facility. This enabled us to expand our wholesale client list to over 90 companies. We have continued to grow steadily since then - in both retail and wholesale operation.One of the advantages of working with Summit Spice & Tea Co. is that our retail store has taught us the importance of packaging and presentation in the retail environment. It is not enough these days to simply offer high quality, fresh spices & teas. We understand that this the very least our customers expect from us. Our job is to develop products that customers love and, just as importantly, develop packaging designs that complement the product and attract customers.

Everyone starts somewhere, and our love of food has developed over the years. With years of experience at professional culinary programs as well as hands-on experience in restaurants, bakeries and cafes, our team has cultivated their passion for great food for a long time.
