As an Engineering Intern at Asymmetric Technologies, I collaborate with senior engineers and R&D experts to develop and mature cutting-edge technologies for commercial and defense applications. Collaborate with research engineers and graduate students to develop and test embedded systems in sUAS. I am responsible for integrating sensors & control systems and preparing a novel demonstrator aircraft to serve real-time systems identification research. I manufacture vehicles and components using machining, laser cutting, CNC foam cutting, and 3D printing along with composite construction techniques. Conduct flight tests and carry out thorough data analysis meetings, collaborating with the team to identify and rectify failures of sensors and systems.

As the Vice President of Design/Build/Fly, I work closely with the President to oversee the organization's operations, cultivate industry support, and interface with our university partners. I make strategic decisions to ensure our team is positioned for success in the competition.

I run recruitment & retention at Design/Build/Fly with a focus on early-career technical and professional development. Our goal is to equip each of our members to enter the workforce with key competencies, all while developing a world-class competition aircraft every year. With industry partners like GE Aviation and Boeing, we are able to provide the resources and connections needed for our members to grow as engineers and professionals.In 2021, I co-designed and raised funds for a program allowing 28 new members to build their first RC aircraft. This program allowed members to gain useful hands-on experience prior to the 2022 competition.

Contributed to the manufacturing of electric systems prototypes within the New Product Introduction (NPI) Lab at GE Aviation's EPISCenter.Employed work instructions and re-work tracking systems to identify gaps and improvement areas during prototype assembly leading to more efficient manufacturing processes and tooling in preparation for market entry.Soldered over 50 Circuit Boards meeting IPC Class 3 standards for reliability and assisted with board bring-up. Assisted Senior Design Engineers with the design and fabrication of fixtures and wiring harnesses for test cell verification of electromechanical components.
