Verisk's CRS/ Flood Field Representative is the role that I have been performing for the past nine months, with the Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) designation and customer service management skills as my core competencies. I provide accurate and timely flood risk data and analysis to communities, helping them improve their floodplain management practices and reduce their flood insurance premiums. My passion for floodplain management stems from my previous experience as a Floodplain Management Specialist at the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency, where I supported the implementation and administration of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and the Community Rating System (CRS) in the state for over a year and a half. I also have a background in law enforcement and criminal justice, having worked as a Booking Officer, Animal Control Officer and Patrol Officer at Ridgeland Police Department for two and a half years. I am currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree , and I hold a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Mississippi College.
