Currently acting as a technical liaison point between UNE and the Department of Education.Since the implementation of TCSI (Tertiary Collection of Student Information) in 2021, the reporting responsibilities of Australian Universities have significantly increased. The Statutory Reporting Specialist position is instrumental primarily in ensuring the successful submission and verification of student and staff data to the DoE.The other position responsibilities include: - Analysing student data from a number of discrete sources, to ensure we are compliant with Australian Government legislation regarding HEP (Higher Education Provider) reporting. - Responsible for coordinating UNE's response to, and actioning, HEP communications sent by the DoE. - Working with the UNE TCSI team, to further streamline the automated reporting of this data. - Providing multiple business areas in the University with updates on Federal Government requirements, as well as delivering comprehensive reports and dashboard information, to maximise efficiency and information visibility, in order to allow these areas to make business decisions based on the information provided.

This was an adaptive role that required liaison with Customers, communication on their technical requirements, producing quotes and organising payment, managing the workloads and schedules of two Laser Cutting machines, as well as assisting the lead engineers in designing and developing new workshop parts for internal jobs.
