Caleb is a Sports Medicine Fellow as a part of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship through Kansas University in Wichita, KS. He currently works with high school, collegiate, and professional athletes covering a wide variety of sporting events. He is an ABFM board-certified family medicine physician after graduating from an OB fellowship-equivalent family medicine program through KU-Via Christi. His fellowship emphasizes ultrasound-guided procedures, training-room/courtside evaluations, and non-operative management of medical conditions commonly seen in athletes. After graduating in June 2023, he and his fiance, Libby, will be getting married in Des Moines, IA. In his future practice, he is interested in working with athletes of all ages as a primary care sports medicine physician in the Des Moines region. Further history: Caleb attended Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri, graduating with a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology. He was elected as Missouri State's Freshman of the Year and is a former President of the MSU Phi Gamma Delta chapter. He performed research on different applications of nanoparticles in diagnosing pulmonary emboli as well as the phenotypical characteristics of Hurler's Syndrome in mouse models. Caleb attended the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, AL, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2019. He helped create the national emergency simulation competition, taught anatomy as a TA, and served as a university ambassador. After graduation, he moved to Kansas to be closer to family still residing in the midwest.
