I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), graduating in 2019. Shortly after, I faced the challenge of rebuilding my portfolio from scratch following a house fire that claimed years of work. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, I took on freelance illustration projects while working in retail, which helped me refine my artistic skills and perseverance.My passion for the art world led me to the gallery sector, where I advanced to a Sales Associate role, specializing in fine art sales. I had the privilege of working closely with prestigious clients, fostering a deep understanding of the industry and honing my ability to connect buyers with pieces that speak to them. Although the gallery eventually closed, the experience reinforced my commitment to my career goals.Now based in New York City, I am eager to continue pursuing my dream of opening my own gallery, while contributing to the vibrant art scene in meaningful ways. I’m actively seeking opportunities to leverage my sales expertise, creative background, and industry knowledge to make a lasting impact in the art community.
