My name is Caleb Johnson, and right out of highschool, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I knew I needed money so I started off in the food industry. Working at a few mom and pop shops and learned an abundance of skills like customer service, currency handling, cooking, sanitation, and basic human skills like mopping, washing windows/ dishes etc. Got tired of rinsing and repeating my days so I searched for a completely new route and chose construction. I worked for a real estate invest firm (C10 Investments LLC) and learned the ins and outs of remodeling a house from start to finish. The skills I learned as a construction laborer were very fulfilling, as it can be applied to the real world. Those skills included : Flooring, framing, water lines, running wire, basic electricity skills, roofing, insulation, demolition, cabinet installation, landscaping, handling power tools, window/door installation, laying pavers, laying block, painting, and most importantly entwined in all of those jobs, attention to detail. After my time as a construction laborer, I became a package handler at FedEx. Now I currently run and operate an E-commerce business by myself, and I like to think that I have learned the most working for myself because there is nobody to help you. The skills I have learned from e-commerce is the emphasis on consistency, inventory management, marketing, logistics management, profit margins, processing&handling, all sources of shipping and digital customer service. I also went to Hondros College and passed my real estate courses for the State of Ohio. (Real estate Law, Real estate Appraisal, Real estate Finance, and Principles and Practices.) December 2022
