Serving as an Interior Communications Electrician Supervisor aboard the USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19), an essential component of the United States Navy's forward-deployed forces in the Indo-Pacific region. My role is dedicated to ensuring the seamless operation of interior communication systems, enhancing shipboard readiness, and leading a team of highly skilled technicians. Here's a glimpse into my current responsibilities:Team Leadership and Development:•Lead a team of interior communications technicians, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and professionalism.•Provide hands-on leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members to enhance their technical skills and prepare them for the rigors of shipboard life.•Manage work assignments, task prioritization, and duty rotations to maximize efficiency and productivity within the division.System Maintenance and Operation:•Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a diverse range of interior communication systems, to include alarm and warning, advanced navigation, TV DTS, telecommunications, general announcing, security and command/control functions. •Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance procedures to proactively identify and address potential issues, contributing to the ship's overall mission readiness.Safety and Compliance:•Enforce and uphold strict safety protocols and Navy regulations, promoting a culture of safety consciousness and accident prevention.•Conduct regular damage control drills and equipment inspections to maintain a safe and secure shipboard environment.Documentation and Reporting:•Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and repair histories, ensuring compliance with Navy documentation standards.•Generate timely reports and briefings to keep ship leadership informed of the status of interior communication systems and any recommended improvements

Quality Assurance LPO: Manage 8 programs within QA division, conduct Quarterly Safety Audits, and manage department readiness and compliance with CNIC and NAVAIR guidelines.Runway Support Division LPO: Manage 15 sailors in the day to day operation and maintenance of four E-28 arresting gear assemblies, three Fresnel Lens Optical Landing Aid Systems, two Improved Fresnel Lens Optical Landing Aid Systems, and two Manually Operated Visual Landing Aid Systems. Duties include installing and maintaining visual landing aids; testing and maintaining emergency aircraft recovery equipment using electric and mechanical test equipment and hand tools; activating airfield arresting systems during emergency landing situations and training evolutions and maintaining logs of airplane recoveries, and equipment maintenance. Installs, positions, rewinds, and pretensions aircraft arresting systems.Air Operations Telecommunications Control Officer: submit requests for VoIP, Automated Call Distribution (ACD) and wireless device troubleshooting and installation. Coordinate, advise on, and review new digital and wireless IT and telecommunications requests.

Directly supervised 18 sailors in the completion of preventive and corrective maintenance actions/troubleshooting. In charge of all IFLOLS(Improved Fresnel Lens Optical Landing System) and ILARTS(Integrated Launch and Recorvery Television Surveilance) operations. Constant surveillance of fixed wing and helicopter operations. In charge of 6 vital watch stations critical to the safe launch and recovery of aircraft. 3M WCS, RPPO, Primary Career Counselor, Safety Representative, and ALREMP Collateral Duty Inspector.

Primary job repair navigation/electrical systems and indication systems onboard submarines and surface ships. Worked directly with planning and Quality assurance to build work packages. Performed corrective actions on intrusive and no intrusive electrical systems on Ohio, Los Angeles and Seawolf class submarines. Performed pressure, torque and temperature calibration services.
