Caleb has been passionate about government for as long as he can remember. An alumnus of TeenPact Leadership Schools (WA), Patriot Academy (ID), and The Fund for American Studies (DC), Caleb is always seeking out ways to grow his capacity to advocate truth in the realms of law, economics, and politics. Caleb served as an intern with Americans United for Life in Washington, D.C. this past summer, and regularly publishes commentary on current political events through his work as a contract writer for a family policy institute. Caleb also serves as an exam manager for the Institute for Classical Languages' up-and-coming Universal Latin Exam. His position encompasses marketing, customer service, trouble-shooting, communicating with technical staff and management, supervising teams of paid and volunteer assistants, and organizing data. In his role with the exam, Caleb has managed service to over 60 schools nationally and internationally and has supervised the grading of over 2,500 exams.After finishing high school as a nationally-ranked competitor in speech and debate, Caleb transitioned to teaching and has now coached dozens of students across the country how to become better researchers, thinkers, and communicators. Caleb is a private coach with the National Institute for Homeschool Debate and coaches his own debate club in Washington. Caleb has lectured at debate camps in Western and Eastern Washington and California as well as online, and has developed a curriculum for and directed his own three-day camp for two consecutive summers. Caleb has also contributed preparation material to a nationally published resource book for debaters. Besides his debate teaching experience, Caleb has served as a Latin classroom teaching assistant at New Saint Andrews College and a piano teacher for youth and adult beginning students.
