Pizza Chef
I was employed as a dough chef at Barro's Pizza. Dough preparation involves working alone or with a partner on a very tight timeline with no managerial oversight. Efficiency and quality control are the dual priorities of a dough chef. My work was appreciated enough that I was given a raise within three week of being hired. I was responsible for preparing the dough for every pizza. This involves temperature control, mixing, measuring, cutting, folding, and storing. I was also responsible for stocking the refrigerators, supplying the pizza toppers with dough, cleaning, and maintaining equipment, and training new employees.
