As the Director of Governance, Risk and Compliance within Dell's Cybersecurity organization I have the following responsibilities:• Provide leadership to a global team of professionals throughout the US, EMEA and APJ. • Provide leadership and direction to PCI, Financial Reporting, Federal, ISO 27001, and CSA compliance initiatives designed to minimize risk to Dell’s information and computing assets globally across all business units, subsidiaries and outsourced operations.• Responsible for identifying risks, assessing the design of IT processes, testing processes and related controls, identifying exceptions, partnering with technology owners to identify remediation solutions, and promoting solutions to management. • Responsible for reporting IT risks to the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function.• Responsible for maintaining the IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solution. • Maintain a comprehensive set of IT Policies, Standards, and Guidelines aligned to industry standards and approved by Executive Management within IT and/or the Business.• Develop, maintain, and deliver education and training programs to drive increased awareness and compliance across the organization. • Establish effective relationships with IT stakeholders and assist management in the understanding and adoption of internal control principles. • Facilitate regular reporting of IT Compliance status to Executive Management.• Act as a liaison with Legal, IT, Information Security, Business Controls, Internal Audit, and External Audit.• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Company’s overall business strategy, key objectives, success factors and related risks in relationship to IT.

• Led a global, cross functional team responsible for ensuring 110+ SOX key financial systems running on 10,000+ servers were highly secure, compliant, and available. • Directly responsible for the creation and implementation of Dell’s methodology to scope into the SOX audit the IT environments of some of Dell’s largest acquired entities including: Perot Systems, Quest Software, and Dell Financial Services.• Co-led a project to develop and operationalize an internal controls framework and application risk tiering methodology for the Dell Bank Ireland Limited entity. • Managed a project team which delivered Dell’s first standardized, global SSRS reporting on key SOX, PCI, and Bank systems resulting in substantial risk reduction and audit, compliance, and security efficiencies.• Led a multi-year initiative to drive improvements in Segregation of Duties (SoD) compliance: o Regular OCIO presentations and Executive project status briefings o Extensive analysis of and updates to relevant IT Policies and Standardso Rearchitecture of Visual Studio Team System (VSTS) security

Led SAS 70 and Internal Audit Outsourcing projects while driving an increase in IT and Audit opportunities for the firm.

$23b Global Technology Company• Lead IT manager overseeing 8k hours of internal audit outsourcing services in support of SOX 404 compliance for this Office of the Chairman account. Led a cross functional team of over 20 professionals in 5 countries responsible for delivering guidance and assistance in the identification, documentation, and optimization of key controls (manual and automated) for over 40 key financial systems. • Lead IT manager of team evaluating business process transformation and integration documentation for $350m acquisition. Findings and recommendations issued to management increased SKU processing efficiency and reliance upon embedded controls to prevent and/or detect 100% of transactional errors. $150m Technology Company• Led SAS 70 engagement for outsourced Call Record Processing, Billing and Settlement, Customer Accounting, and Financial Risk Management services provider. Feedback from the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Information Technology indicated that overall professionalism, engagement execution and the quality of the final report was a significant improvement over the previous provider. Performance led to a multi-year agreement for Ernst & Young to perform the annual SAS 70 examination.Retail and Wholesale, Financial Services, Technology, Real Estate, and Biotechnology Companies• Lead IT audit manager on annual financial statements, SOX 404, and other audit engagements.
