I'm an energetic young professional currently working as a Product Function engineer at Michelin, NA. I've been in my position for over two years and have enjoyed applying my academic skills in a quality assurance role. I graduated in the spring of 2020 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. In my role at Michelin, I have ownership of multiple tire lines and am responsible for ensuring that the tires are being produced to standard. I accomplish this by analyzing cut tires to ensure that the cured design is being achieved. As the expert in the design of the tire, I also lead problem solving teams to troubleshoot manufacturing defects in the process or design. I am learning valuable lessons such as protecting the customer, coordinating problem solving and development tests, and designing products based on the manufacturing technology available. I also industrialize new technologies coming to tires. I have taken multiple tread rubber compounds through the quality control process and implemented in normal production. My main developmental project has been a new nylon part to help with tire endurance and heat dissipation around the rim. I have learned a lot from this project while working with a cross functional team driving progress in tire technology. I offer strong engineering analysis and design knowledge, relationship-building skills, and a motivation for continuous learning and professional growth. I am able to adapt, prioritize, and problem solve in order to produce quality results for every team I work with. I look forward to speaking with you about the strengths I can bring to your company.
