Solution Chief (Chief Engineer) - provide vision and direction for a team of 110 engineers and developers in delivering a multi-security, multi-domain command and control product for both missile defense and space defense

I am the lead (RTE in agile terms) for a ~110 person team comprised of system, software, network and cyber engineers as well as system administrators and software testers producing a hardware/software system at multiple classification levels. I work to organize the work based upon inputs from the architect and produce a master schedule for each iteration (quarter) of the work to be performed by each team. Additionally, I monitor execution to ensure on-time delivery of capabilities as outlined in the statement of work. As needed, I remove roadblocks to ensure the teams can perform unhindered and work with HR to identify and hire individuals to support our development effort through interviews and drafting position requirements.

I lead 6 teams as the product owner. I am tasked with providing a vision to our team based upon input from our DoD customer. This includes leading increment planning, deconflicting resources between other product owners, and steering our run-ahead team to deliver necessary information for our developers. This work is done on behalf of C2BMC/X-Lab.

I work on a sustainment team performing system engineering roles such as obsolescence replacements, provide technical support, depo level inspections and upgrades. I also provide JIRA admin support for our program. I am a scrum master for a team of 12, I am also a developer on this team.

Systems Engineer working on integrating agile software programs to support the National Defense Space Center (NSDC) mission. Additionally, established the NSDC onboarding process, works with operators to generate requirements and identifies solutions to fulfill mission needs.

Oversee cost, schedule and performance of $8M/yr research program specializing in satellite vulnerabilities. The project also pioneers new, low cost methods to perform space situational awareness (SSA). In addition, brought in $4M in customer funding. Lastly, authored, awarded and monitors the execution of a 5 yr/$49M dollar contract which supports the units research and development mission.

Manage multiple lines of accounting for government research as well as managing subcontractor funding across multiple fiscal years. This includes forecasting expenditures as well as developing future operations plans.

I am tasked with maintaining the health of a $2.1B constellation of satellites. I perform routine maintenance actions as well as anomaly recovery procedures. I work closely with Air Force, Army and contractor agencies to implement mission system updates as well as coordinating satellite operations on a daily basis.
