Early in career, I accomplished several debug and performance investigations for Surface Hub and Audio products that generated a new perspective on electrical systems using software resources to add context or Clarity to hardware issues. Investigations include protocol analysis, FPGA test benches, and power state transition monitoring.I successfully developed PCBA designs for EV and MP boards that exist in products today. The designs include digital and analog circuits that have application in power delivery, power regulation, communication interfaces, and microcontrollers.I also provided product investigation for new technologies and potential product lines, that included prototyping, testing, and thorough market and technology research. This provided insight into many emerging technologies and potential applications in the consumer space.

I worked with the Surface Hub team to prototype a feature concept for a low power wake solution for the Surface Hub 2. The proposal was to use an IMU and DSP on the sensor to detect a screen tap showing user intentionality.For the demonstration, I design the DSP based on applications of similar solutions in phones and developed the UWP app to give feedback to know when the feature has been enabled and used. The development utilized JavaScript and Visual Studios.

I worked as a summer researcher for the Optoelectronics Components and Materials group under the SROP program. The program aimed at prep for students actively pursuing graduate school and are seeking research experience along with grad school prep.With the Lab, I studied OLED devices focused on evaluating the encapsulation procedure for the group's fabrication process. Through my work installed an additional testing chamber to the LabVIEW setup along with fabricating dozens of OLEDs for characterization.
