Travelling across Canada with a team to help build and install store fixtures in new and newly renovated businesses. Memorably, the Blue Jay's hat store inside the Rogers Centre.

My duties here were travelling around Ontario and parts of Quebec to service and repair park model homes. Other duties were assisting in the setup of new park model homes, including: blocking, levelling, wiring, and carpentry.

Contracted by a private company to build and service bicycles for Walmart and Canadian Tire stores as well as building their display outdoor furniture, BBQs, and gazebos. Building garden sheds for Lowe's stores. Hired privately to assemble gazebos, garden sheds, and spring-free trampolines.

My most recent position at Compass Minerals, Goderich Mine was a general mining labourer. Prior to this I spent approximately 1 year operating Caterpillar 769 and 775 haulage trucks, transporting mill waste, and for 2 years before that, I operated a downhole drill in preparation for main bench blasting.Some of my past positions included:- Drilling (jumbo) and loading faces for secondary blasts (development rounds)- Scoop tram operation- Large haulage (production) truck operator (CAT 775 and 769)- Loader operator (CAT 992, 990, 988, 982 and Volvo L330)- CMS (rock) bolter operator- Backchecking/scaling, ability to identify loose on walls and back (poor ground conditions)

My positions during my time here varied widely.Seasonally- Mill operator for de-podding green peas- Cutter operator for removing kernel from corn- Knife sharpener, working within the maintenance department for keeping the corn cutter blades sharp - Seamer operator for the process of canning the product (corn, peas, soup etc.)- Depalletizer for supplying empty cans for product filling, and full cans for labelling- Palletizer for the stacking full cans and cases of finished product.Off season/primary positions - Forklift operator for loading and unloading tractor trailers, transporting finished products to warehouse, and supplying raw ingredients for production- Clean up/housekeeping which required the use of large cardboard compactors. Sweeping, vacuuming dry product/dust- Sanitation, required training of, and use of industrial cleansers for food processing facilities
