My heart, my calling, is to use my unique professional and educational skills as tools to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, to pursue justice and mercy in my community, and make disciples of all nations. I have been called to administer and develop the initiatives of Knysna Hope, a non-profit organization (NPO) in Knysna, South Africa. Knysna Hope is a collective of diverse, compassionate volunteers who engage in relationship building, caring, helps, and upliftment initiatives in every part of our community for the glory of God.We have our own initiatives, and also assist other community organizations and ministries with their programs. This co-operation enables each of us to use our gifts, talents, experience and resources as we share the Gospel, make disciples, train leaders, and encourage church planting in Knysna and beyond. As an account manager, my essential role was that of a coordinator. I have developed skills in managing and coordinating multiple parties, across a wide spectrum of industries, and in myriad geographic locations to accomplish specific goals. Balancing the various interests of each party, understanding the interconnectedness of business decisions, and the capability to keep the big picture in mind are crucial abilities that have been honed through experience. At Florida State University, my concentration was in international economics with an emphasis on economic development and international trade. My primary research areas were Regional Economic Integration in Africa and Florida in the Global Economy. My undergraduate degree focused on management, accounting, and business strategy. The combination of these two degrees equips me with a unique understanding of both the inner workings of a business and the external economic environment in which it operates. My family and I are sent directly by First Baptist Church, Tallahassee, FL.
