I am a tutor whose passion for education and improving students' lives is a driving force. I have been so impressed and encouraged by my students' ability to learn and grow with the proper support. I have recently completed my Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in Media and Communication. I have worked as a Tutor for over five years at the post-secondary level as well as with children in Elementary and Secondary School. I have 800+ hours of tutoring experience in writing, social studies, and math (elementary); have tutored local and international students from around the world, including neuro-diverse students; have prepared 1-to-2-hour long lesson plans to address specific student needs and concerns; have completed session reports daily detailing the contents of each session; have specialized in teaching grammar and in various academic writing styles, genres, and formats; and have led both individual and group (up to 8 students) teaching sessions.
