Software Engineer and voracious reader. I have always loved solving problems so I guess it is a good thing the world is so full of them. (Have to find the silver lining somewhere right?) That love for problem solving has turned a part time hobby into a full time passion. My programming journey started with Java and while I loved it's practicality and portability I wanted to get closer to the hardware. That is when I started programming in C/C++ and even experimented a little bit with x86 assembly. I love the complete control those languages provide, and I developed a device driver and a CPU scheduling simulation in C which can be found in my projects section. From there I moved into C# and Python programming which almost felt like cheating compared to those lower level languages. Python was so enjoyable that I started exploring the Django Web Framework and I began creating my first website. The book ordering process at my college was cumbersome so my first website allowed students to order their textbooks online and have their books delivered to their rooms (a link to the prototype can also be found in the projects section). This project gave me my first taste of designing database schema and interacting with cloud architecture. I also designed some of the HTML/CSS templates but realized I enjoyed working on the back end more.
