I am a determined Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry Student at Calvin College. It is my passion to be able to optimize the manufacturing process of products in the plastics and pharmaceutical field. I have grown this passion through my experience in the decorative plastics industry as an Operator and inventory control assistant. In this position I was able to see how plastic parts are assembled together to make a product. I also gained chemistry and industry experience working as a Lab intern at RepcoLite paints, working on various materials analysis, formulation, and quality related projects. I also love leadership. In my experience at the Lincoln Lake Bible Camp, I was able to take on a leadership role and spend every week leading a new group of 6-8 kids. These experiences help me work with a team and adapt quickly to any environment. I cultivate the resources given to me to best contribute to any company I am working for. My respect for peers is assumed. Healthy relationships are important to me for communication of ideas is done best through healthy relationships. I am looking for a full time engineering position starting the summer of 2021 because I want to contribute my knowledge and skill I have developed in the various applications of engineering and as a team player. I am always striving towards improvement and my strength of character leads me to success. I am humble and willing to accept responsibility for my mistakes and always willing to ask for help.
