I am currently studying for a BA/BSc in Politics, Philosophy and Economics

Since late 2024 I have been writing on Substack. My articles (at politicsonatangent.substack.com) cover UK politics, US politics, policy proposals for the UK and broader political analysis. In this role I have developed my writing and journalistic skills as well as broadened my understanding of politics and policymaking in the UK.I have particularly developed expertise in higher education policy, immigration policy, parliament, US politics, polling, election analysis and the Conservative party. I have also increased my understanding of Israeli politics, military strategy, political theory and political communications.

I served as a member of the West Sussex Youth Cabinet for Crawley, then Haywards Heath and then as Deputy Member of Youth Parliament for Crawley and East Grinstead - being elected in three elections. In this role I represented constituents, took part in debates and discussions as well as formulating policy ideas - particularly in the areas of education and youth safety. In this role I also lead the Knife Crime and Youth Safety campaigns which involved running polling, writing reports, creating posters and engaging with leading policymakers and local figures.

I lead the work of the school newspaper as a lead writer and Editor-in-Chief. Under my leadership we went from a writing staff of three to over twenty and from infrequent editions to a hybrid publication with half-termly paper copies and an active website. We are also planning on launching a podcast.As well as my leadership role I also lead our political coverage, writing articles about UK politics, economics, foreign affairs, US politics and public policy.
