Leading 40+ members across 4 subteams and 6 committees in developing low and high kinetic energy fully autonomous and remote-controlled combat robots for annual competition in the Norwalk Havoc Robot League. Collaborating with subteam leads to develop an agile timeline with 5-6 design sprints, enhancing work efficiency, promoting mutual accountability, and setting precedents for future leadership. Directing recruitment, onboarding, and training programs, fostering a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere to welcome new and returning members alike and ensure the team’s future sustainability. Overseeing all aspects of the full team’s operations, including sponsorship outreach, financial accounting, community engagement, subteam counseling, member evaluations, and new project development.

Directed a subteam of 9 engineers in designing, manufacturing, assembling, and testing an 18-pound, low-kinetic-energy combat robot for the 2023-2024 competition season. Pioneered the redefinition of the subteam’s mission and values, conducting RCA and FMEA to identify workflow inefficiencies and implement solutions enabling complete goal fulfillment on a compressed timeline. Managed a dynamic schedule, encouraged collaborative communication, and provided continuous feedback to foster team enrichment, build camaraderie, and drive success. Applied advanced CAD, CAM, and FEA skills to design, model, and simulate over 50 unique robot components.

Applied advanced CAD skills to model and simulate over 30 unique robot parts prior to manufacturing. Devised a custom RC transmitter upgrade, enabling intuitive control of an unconventional weapon system. Orchestrated the team-based construction of a life-size arcade machine to house an original video game, purposed with encouraging students to explore engineering and combat robotics. Worked closely with 7 teammates in a highly collaborative and co-dependent engineering environment.

Created CAD models, technical drawings, and professional prototypes to streamline manufacturing processes for 17 late-stage startups in CleanTech, AgTech, and other hardware applications. Collaborated with a team of 5 engineers to provide technical insight for 16 early-stage startups during an 11-week prototyping accelerator program, facilitating the successful realization of entrepreneurs’ initial visions. Provided startup executives with personalized training in product design, project scoping, small-scale prototyping, feasibility analysis, testing, and design for manufacturing and assembly.

Investigated the morphologies of four specific configurations of “magnetic handshake” materials through implementing molecular dynamics simulations enhanced by visual analysis of simulation endpoints using Ovito, as well as the creation of nearest-neighbor radial distribution functions and potential energy plots. Spearheaded exploration into the relationship between dipole interaction potential strength and phase transitions by designing simulation frameworks for homogeneous and multi-component material systems. Applied Freud and Signac, in addition to trajectory visualization software, to tabulate the potential energy, axial displacement, angular offset, and rotational misalignment in small-scale systems of pair interactions. Completed a scientific report outlining overall progress as part of a research scholarship program in 2022.

Created and taught choreography for intermediate and advanced tap classes, as well as for competitive including solos, trio, and small group routines. Provided insightful critiques and coordinated intensive rehearsals to guide and encourage the advancement of students' abilities. Organized and executed an introductory workshop to encourage younger dancers (especially boys) to pursue their passion for dance.

Designed and assembled numerous acrylic chassis with a team of 4, prioritizing structural integrity, spatial optimization, and proper chemical containment. Executed the iterative design and fabrication of over 20 unique 3D-printed gears compatible with the shaft of a pneumatic V4 LEGO engine. Streamlined over 100 calibration runs and statistical analyses as part of a group of 8 teammates chosen to prepare for regional and national competitions.
