The DSR role which was asked of me to fill was still in the process of finalization. From January to March I was contracted by an outside company while the final arrangements for my position were created. A Transportation Expert Contractor was given the opportunity to create the DSR position as well as a Transportation Coordinator position. My arrival to Dawn was to work alongside the contractor and finish my position to become the permanent placeholder. We worked very closely, built an amazing relationship, and prospered both the DSR role, and the Transportation Coordinator roll together over the course of 8 months. I mastered my roll to a concrete state in the first month within Dawn. After finalizing my position, alongside the contractor we spent 7 months together to build and establish the Transportation Coordinator role.Important Skills, but not limited to:• Prioritize, work through interruptions, and multi-task to meet goals and timelines.• Detail Oriented / Organization Skills• Strong work ethic, judgement, diplomacy, and collaboration skills• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal• Working closely with Operations Management / Leadership help to understand the day-to-day processes and requirements for operational success.• Critical processes allow me to further grow my basis of detail orientation and prioritization of accuracy, as both directly affect operational success.Aspects I enjoy:• Challenges present an opportunity for me to get excited, focused, and put my mind towards something with personal meaning and accomplishment. • Working with individuals, creating culture amongst my team, and striving to provide success for EVERYONE.• Communication/collaboration with teammates. Clear and transparent. Using positivity, inspiration, and ambition to tackle tasks and projects, while maintaining a professional mindset. • Daily I am given the opportunity to share my enthusiasm and genuine excitement with team members to dig into projects and tasks. Accomplish results beyond the expectation of not only Dawn but beyond the expectations I have for myself.
