My name is Caleb Shaffer, and I just recently received my bachelor's degree in sports management with a minor in general business, and I was also pursuing my master's in human relations at the University of Oklahoma before deciding to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft upon the expiration of my amateur eligibility. The world of athletics is something that has revolved around me since birth, particularly taking a liking to the sport of American football, which opened up countless doors for me, most notably the ability to gain a college education. While I am grateful for the various accolades, avenues, achievements and commendations that the sport of football has granted me, I take just as much pride in the opportunities that I have been able to take advantage of outside of football. I am very passionate about community service aligning myself with organizations such as the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc, the University of Oklahoma's SOUL Mission Ambassadorship Program as well as Miami University's student-athlete ambassadors' program. Some of my other hobbies involve reading, personal fitness, cooking, traveling, writing and officiating other sports (basketball, baseball).
