Avionics Technician - Responsible for diagnosing and maintaining multiple F-15 fleets and keeping them in combat ready status. Primarily worked on aircrafts radar, flight control, communications, navigation, and weapons systems. Additional abilities include wire repair, coaxial wire building, and hdraulic/pnumatic systems trouble shooting and repair. Support Technician - Responsible for maintaining and ensuring proper calibration of test equipment used to diagnose issues on aircraft and fix said aircraft. Additional duties were being the units HAZMAT manager, which included the ordering and disposal of hazardous material, ensuring proper storage requirements were followed, maintaining a detailed log of all HAZ items in our possession and keeping a log of all Safety Data Sheets in the case of a mishap. Additional Duties - Training new members to the unit on proper use of test equipment on the aircraft, training on digital documentation systems, coordinating with other units to ensure all items needed for deployment were acquired, and stepping in for section leadership at unit and wing level leadership meetings.
