CurrentConduct pre-procurement evaluations and support assessments for new devices and systems.Utilize service literature and resources for repairs, upgrades, and compliance with regulatory standards.Monitor rental and non-hospital owned devices for safety policy compliance.Maintain mission-critical medical/electronic equipment and IT systems.Analyze, resolve, and document hardware and software problems with medical devices/systems.Install, configure, and test hardware and software components.Ensure documentation compliance with regulatory standards and departmental requirements.Communicate repair status to relevant medical personnel and escalate issues as needed.Create and manage the monthly schedule for preventative maintenance for my team and our areas of responsibilityProvide guidance and mentorship to new technicians, imparting knowledge on maintenance techniques, shop protocols, and facility layout.
