Oversee operations of functions relevant to pool maintenance•Maintain pool chemical levels per DHEC standards•Pump room and deck maintenanceManage and schedule all vehicle maintenance and repairs for fleet buses•Perform driver safety course, test and certification for YMCA staff association-wide •Maintain equipment per established preventative maintenance schedules Maintain all aspects of property including:•Indoor responsibilities: Manage 22,000 sq. ft. facility•Pool; Sauna; Steam Room; Whirlpool; Locker Rooms/Special Needs Locker Rooms; Fitness Center/Gymnasium•Maintain property to high standards of cleanliness and function for member comfort•Monitor, order, purchase, and implement all pool related chemicals.•Maintain all indoor illumination areas•Oversee and maintain janitorial functions of facility.Outdoor Responsibilities: 22 Acres•Maintenance of all fields; Landscaping; Parking area maintenance; •Playground safety standardsTurf maintenance•Inclement weather responsibilities include salt for snow and ice and water run-off issues in parking lot and groundsSupervision of Staff:•Supervise/oversee day to day scheduling of maintenance staff: cleaning crew, on staff maintenance personnel and external maintenance providersVendor Management•Establish and maintain positive vendor relationships•Maintain vendor files •Use bidding process for vendor related needs according to YMCA processBudgeting/Fundraising:•Work closely with development coordinators in regards to property related needs•Develop and monitor annual maintenance budget with Property Manager and Executive Director•Procure bids on all potential maintenance projects: building, landscaping and vehicles•Inventory management of all housekeeping, pool chemicals and grounds materials. Established and maintain a process for inventory control and procurement that ensures my department stays within budgetary boundaries.
