In this role, responsibilities included:* Managed up to $2mm annually of 3PL customers/clients consisting of 40+ partners/customer relationships. * Responsible for onboarding of new 3PL clients, including item /data setup, and light technological e-commerce connections. * Sales - responsible for all new 3PL prospective 3PL customers, proposals and negotiations * Managed Warehouse Management System, 3PL Central & customer training * Equipment acquisition & maintenance* Managed relationships with external supply vendors and purchasing decisions* Warehouse layout planning* Negotiation with Freight carriers and logistics* Routing, freight booking & scheduling* Heavily assisted in the planning and logistical 2 warehouse relocations* Amazon proficient - managed customer Amazon portals, routing and order flow. * Completed UL audits / Certification annually* Yale forklift trainer certification In 5 years, helped grow the business by 500%.

Manage outside sales force and the estimating dept. for commercial/contractor customers. Hire, train, assist and lead Service Managers in day to day activities. Provide product and policy knowledge to customers and employees.Maintain data base of current and prospective customers.Delegate new accounts to appropriate Sales Representatives. Set and monitor individual and dept. sales goals and criteria for new accounts, new customers, and sales numbers.

Complete material take-offs for customers from blueprints or material lists ranging from entire house packages and light commercial to residential customers landscape projects. Provide customers with literature and specifications for items requested or needed. Communicated with various outside vendors and sources to provide items needed to complete projects.Accurately log and report estimates completed and sold. Reported estimates to Sales Dept. Mgr. for delegation to Service Mgrs.Follow up with customers via phone, fax, or email regarding the estimated project. Closed sales and scheduled deliveries.

Maintain current relationships with Commercial and Contractor customers through onsite visits and contact via phone, fax, or email. Assisted customers in planning their projects and purchases. Maintain business files for current customers including job locations, product preferences, and payment information. Cold call on potential customers to build new business either on-site or via phone. Take and process orders for material delivery or pick up. Managed delivery scheduling and receipts for purchases.
