Developed, coordinated, and managed the Career Pathways Initiative at the University of Arkansas at Monticello - College of Technology in Crossett (Arkansas). Developed a job-readiness program (often referred to as the "Employability Program") and guided students through the various tasks of that program. Services provided at this site include career counseling, job-readiness training, testing services, and financial assistance for approved educational programs. Financial services for qualifying individuals included tuition payment, textbook purchases or loans, gas vouchers, child care payment assistance, testing services or fees, supplies, and payment for professional licenses and certifications. Students are also assisted with their job search and preparing for interviews. Developed systems to maximize the coordination of services; this included departments at the Crossett campus, departments at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, Arkansas Department of Higher Education, Department of Health and Human Services, Department of Workforce Services, Rehabilitation Services, and many other agencies and organizations. Made presentations at various civic groups or state agencies to inform the public about Career Pathways. Screened, and approved or denied, applicants seeking financial services. Financial services were provided with the Director's approval only.Provided academic and career counseling to Pathways students. Developed a tracking system to follow students after they exit the program and enter the workforce. Provided training and assessments for the Arkansas Career Readiness Certification (CRC). I was the only authorized administrator for this test in Ashley County.

Worked with buyers and sellers to negotiate the sale of residential homes. As a Realtor, I was responsible for locating homes that fit the need of buyers, showing properties, and completing the real estate contract to fit the desires of the buyers. Conversely, I was also responsible for obtaining sellers as clients and listing their home for sale. Then I would be responsible for showing the home and trying to work with other Realtors to get the property sold at the price requested by the sellers.
