I have earned my bachelor’s in science majoring in Psychology with an emphasis in sport and performance from Grand Canyon University. I am also in a clinical psychology doctoral program at Azusa Pacific with aspirations of becoming a licensed clinical psychologist. I am a self-starter, driven, and passionate about being a servant to people who may be in need. I am motivated to help guide people to realize the person they were always capable of being. Through my own personal experiences in sport, I have been intrigued with the relationship dynamics between a parent and their child-athlete. This planted a seed in my mind of wanting to become a clinical psychologist to be a light and glorify God through psychology.I am looking to build connections with people and create a network during my time here at Azusa Pacific. My desire is to gain knowledge and develop experience to help me not only help me in my professional growth, but also my personal development. I have experience working in Applied Behavioral Analysis where I worked alongside with children and adolescents with neurodivergent disorders in developing skills, they can apply to their daily lives leading to living an independent lifestyle. I am currently working as a clinical assistant at an outpatient residential treatment facility. Through my work experience I have learned what it means to develop rapport, write succinct daily notes, and act in an ethical manner no matter the circumstance.
