· Our group focuses on examining chondrosarcoma genetic profiling data with the intent of discerning specific drivers of metastatic progression. Responsible for performing computational analyses researching the interrelation of genetic dysregulation and metastatic phenotype, along with presenting at orthopaedic conferences and journal clubs.· Completed capstone independent study project suggesting the correlation of LCP1 (lymphocyte cytosolic protein 1) as a marker of aggressivity and poor prognosis in CHS, through a combination of differential RNAseq expression analyses, qPCR validation, survival hazard ratio results, and gene set enrichment analyses. Team: Celebrating Latinx Culture with a Spanish Reading Program

· Working a part-time engineering position funded by the NC Department of Public Instruction, focused on improving accessibility of the existing codebase, engaging with new district clients, and training new engineering team members.

· Assisting in research involving COVID-19 relief services within the state of NC towards the development of Meals4Families, a web application using Google Sheets as a JSON endpoint to highlight meal resources and their operating hours. · Participated in weekly engineering meetings to address issues posed on our organization's GitHub repository, implementing functionality to easily incorporate new districts in our codebase (written primarily in VueJS).PI: Dr. Kate Hanson, Visiting Research Associate, Duke Biology Department
