Analyzing customer EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) orders of finished goods (and manual customer purchase orders) daily to ensure accurate pricing, ordering constraints, and sourcing locations to maximize supply chain efficiencies for both the customer and Smucker.Reviewing customer orders and collaborating with internal supply chain teams to identify opportunities at Smucker Distribution Centers to maximize customer case fill rates.Maintaining customer supply chain scorecard information to monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and provide the root cause and corrective action when goals are not met.Identifying cost savings and opportunities that drives continuous improvement benefiting Smucker and the customer through data analysis.Collaborating cross functionally to monitor the performance of third-party freight carriers and warehousing service providers to meet/exceed customer and Smucker service goals

Dispatching of pharmaceuticals and other high value shipments as it pertains to contracted customer account requirementsOperate and maintain various proprietary and other non-proprietary resources to monitor and track shipments, regulate temperature controlled freight and uphold shipment specific rules and regulations including GPS, customer and or Freight-Watch Geofence routing, unique to each laneOrder creation, load procurement, negotiation, freight tendering, and problem resolutionSuggest improvements to business processes and procedures when applicable to benefit the corporate goals as well as key stakeholdersIdentify customer needs and facilitate communication with owner operators or outside agents to provide the most cost-effective means of shipment execution

• Receive calls from vendors and customers, maintaining a high level of customer service• Process orders, route and monitor shipments• Provide reports to customers and supervisors• Maintain and update computer database• Answer questions and resolve customer issues• Assist Logistics Coordinators and Managers with other related duties• Utilize information through tariffs, discounts, NMFC guide, and carrier route guides• Input and reconcile freight bills as needed• Carry on call equipment during off hours as needed• Other duties as assigned by management
