Our mission at Skaled was to help organizations and the people that work there realize their potential. I did this primarily via the medium of video by producing sizzle reels, promos, interviews, and other forms of social content for our brand partners. From conception to final cut, I created at a high volume. Yes, I can superimpose you onto a cartoon unicorn. Yes, I can wear a button-up for shooting an interview at the One World Trade Center. I am grateful for everything I learned while at Skaled. I ultimately left this company because I wanted more control over the brands I work with and stories I tell.

I don't know if you have watched (or can emotionally handle watching) Bachelor in Paradise, but it was my first opportunity on a huge production. My role was to direct the cast (a wide variety of personalities) to and from exotic sets, airports and highly-confidential lodgings. Beyond these logistical tasks, I would conduct cast interviews to help the producers get the right content, assist the art department by maintaining set and, most importantly, serve as a friendly resource for all cast needs. Acting as the eyes and ears for a massive production allowed me to get up-close-and-personal with a host of brilliant creatives. Reality TV requires some seriously strong instincts that I am glad to have experienced.

I worked on set during the shooting of three Brookshire Brothers TV spots.

My job was to protect the Facebook User Experience. I greatly enjoyed working with the diverse team of fellow contractors.We collected and documented malicious marketing trends, spent hundreds of hours digesting various social campaigns, and learned a great deal about what works and what doesn't on the platform. I've seen so many ads that I can spot the good ones!

I became a Certified Apple Product Professional during my two contracts at Apple. I was responsible for handling a high volume of inbound/outbound calls daily. This was my first step into the world of sales quotas, metrics analysis and eventually retail support. Proudest moment was being nominated for Volt's Employee of the Quarter (for being consistent) and getting feedback that my calls would be greatly missed from the big boss herself after I put in my two-weeks to pursue filmmaking.

Primarily worked out of the Paramount Theatre. Think guest-management. Volunteers, stars and attendees frequented the historic venue, so it was a logistical challenge.

I was employed full-time at Apple and simultaneously working here upon my move to Austin. I helped with the production of 'On Story,' reviewed screenplay submissions and screened films for quality assurance. High profile communication experiences, with the likes of Susan Sarandon or Ray McKinnon, introduced me to working with all levels of talent.

I lived with my grandparents in the big city that summer, learning everything I could about theatrical production. I was actively engaged in our cast's script readings, box-office ticket sales, house management and saying 'yes' to random errands. Got to sit in the tech-booth during the Native American Play Festival, helping with lighting and sound.

Time moves quickly, doesn't it? If you could go back in time, you'd find a semi-timid ginger kid serving-up cherry limeades during those hot Oklahoman summers with my coworkers (most of whom were my classmates at Sallisaw High). We'd take our breaks in the walk-in fridge and race to deliver tater-tots to the good tippers. The nicer vehicles were statistically stingier.
