I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Safety Sciences from Indiana University in May 2016. I am pursuing a Master of Science in Technology with a concentration in Facilities Management through the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI. My facilities management experience comes from five years as a leader of Facility Operations and Services at the Kelley School of Business. Many issues faced within construction safety and facilities management require creative problem-solving and strong communication skills. I have been put in situations that need quick, strategic solutions with high customer communication and satisfaction levels. Through my work experiences, I have improved many skills, including time and employee management and organization. Through the master’s program at IUPUI, I have completed many courses that I have applied to my day-to-day activities. The education I have received has made me a better resource in project management, contract management, and facilities management principles.
