I'm a soft matter physicist specializing in gels, sedimentation, biophysics, and image processing. I'm currently working to bring therapeutic stem cells to market as part of the R&D team at TreeFrog Therapeutics in Boston.I received my doctoral degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2021 for my thesis work focused on experimental studies of biological crowd behavior, using ants to model universal behaviors of groups of organisms, like people and cells. I am an expert in statistics, statistical mechanics, experiment design and execution, and have a solid grasp of machine learning. My work has been highlighted in several highly respected journals, including Nature Communications and Science Advances. I was honored with a National Science Foundation IGERT fellowship that promoted the integration of machine learning and material science and with the Chateaubriand Fellowship that promotes growing partnerships between the labs in France and the rest of the world.
