As a result of past work experience, I am a hard worker with the ability to work effectively as a team and to work through fast paced environments. I’ve been in construction for quite a while which has given me the opportunity to develop good qualities and firm knowledge of the workforce. I also love making art and drawing so I have the ability to really pay attention to detail which has been proven within my jobs and customer satisfaction. I am good with people and getting along with others as my previous experience has proven such as being a waiter and dealing with customers, as well as customers for construction work. Since being enrolled at Conestoga College and making use of practical training in the Woodworking Technology program, I have become competent using woodworking machines, such as; jointers, planers, table saws, band saws, belt sanders, as well as CNC machinery, and that’s only to name a few. I also have the ability to read blueprints and to efficiently create shop drawings and designs using AutoCAD and Inventor. I’m excited for opportunities in the woodworking industry and continue towards growing my skills as a woodworker.
