I'm directing and filming a number of short documentary films centered on the work Mercy Ships and it's volunteers are doing in sub-Saharan Africa. Mercy Ships operates the world's largest civilian hospital ship and specializes in delivering surgery to those who would otherwise lack access. I spend a lot of time following patients on their journeys toward healing and recovery.

As director, I coordinated with clients to best understand their needs, then executed a creative vision by way of composing cinematic footage, conducting interviews, and editing the videos into a comprehensive piece.
