In one project, I trained and managed an international team of 140 content moderators responsible for moderating influencer content on Snapchat’s Discover feed. In this role, I worked cross-functionally to build internal tools, design workflows, and craft policies. During this time, I also led operations for all US Publisher Stories and Shows. This role gave me the opportunity to work with a diverse set of publishing teams and content creators to help them find success on Snapchat’s Discover feed. As the main point of contact for our partners, I synthesized feedback that led to product improvements on our CMS and consumer app. -

Using insights gleaned from user data, the other team managers and I worked to add hyperlocal and customizable geofilters to our product, transforming Campus Story into an interactive space for our community. These changes increased engagement with our core demographic and created a few viral stories along the way, including my favorite; a school-wide dance battle at the Utah State University library (attached below).
