I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BBA from Texas A&M International University (Laredo). Almost immediately after, I sought, was accepted, and later graduated from the MS Accounting program at Texas A&M’s flagship campus in College Station, TX. My personal alignment with the core values of Texas A&M helped guide my decision to stay in the A&M System for my graduate education. I once read in a book, "When you've prepared, practiced, studied, and consistently put in the required effort, sooner or later you'll be presented with your own moment of truth. In that moment of truth, you will define who you are and who you are becoming." Throughout my education, I have been developing my skills and perspective on business. I enjoy the hard work of committing to a goal and have earned two scholarships at A&M: the Deloitte HACU scholarship and the BE IT Foundation scholarship. Upon graduation, I aspire to earn a CPA license and work in Tax Accounting.Be It Foundation Scholarship: BE IT! is a nonprofit organization that invests in the future by supporting students at the graduate and undergraduate level.Deloitte HACU Scholarship: The Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities is partnering with Deloitte to award scholarships to eligible undergraduate and graduate students. I would describe myself as adaptive, a good communicator, and driven. I am an individual who is willing to go above and beyond to accomplish any task, as long as it coincides with my long-term goal of obtaining my CPA license.
