Managed day-to-day operations for a $12M asset branch. Reviewed daily bank reports, resolved customer service disputes, handled personnel related issues, and monitored cross-sell and teller balancing figures. Developed new customer relationships through sales prospecting, broker relationships, loan closings, existing customer relationships, and community outreach programs that increased core deposits, loan growth and bank profitability. Increased deposits of a new Medical College customer from approximately $5M to $8M, the largest deposit relationship in the branch’s market and required more management than any other account relationship in the branch office. Analyzed and underwrote loan applications for consumer and affordable housing mortgages, construction projects, small commercial lines of credit, and small commercial real estate. Originated more than 100 loans and maintained a less than 2% charge-off rate. Created and utilized a new-accounts cross-sell tracking program that allowed both staff and supervisors to track individual and branch efficiency. This resulted in double-digit growth in several key categories over the first twelve months of implementation. Through knowledge of FDIC coverage laws, saved several $ million in deposits from going to other financial institutions.
