I had many responsibilities at Union Lumber. I did a lot of work on the cash register. This included, but was not limited to, ringing up items for customers, counting back change, and helping customers locate certain items they were searching for. Union Lumber is also known as Union Guns and Gear. I also had a Sales Clerk role in this department. I informed and sold many firearms to customers all over the state of California. California has many strict rules and lots of paperwork that has to be filled out correctly. Proper training was of course instated for this job and this portion of the job was something I was (am) proficient in.
