Accounting grants me the opportunity to leverage my analytical skills to improve business outcomes and help businesses reach their goals. I am excited to aid businesses and find innovative solutions to strategic problems. Accounting is the language of business and I want to become fluent. One of my main talents is optimization. Whatever project comes my way, I have the distinct ability to break it down and find the best and most efficient route to completion. Having worked in the food industry filled with bustling environments, I have been challenged on multiple occasions to keep up with customer demands and effectively communicate to my coworkers. This has required me to take charge within my position, to think quickly on my feet, and to always remain calm when faced with the adversity of multiple orders in a small time frame. I have always enjoyed a busy environment and I desire to use this talent in other situations.My drive to connect was facilitated in a very conducive environment at Auburn University. I am given multiple opportunities where I am able to network with my peers and develop meaningful connections. Through my memberships within Beta Alpha Psi as well as Diversity in Honors, I am able to develop a better sense of those around me. Both honor societies challenge me to think critically and cultivate relationships. Working well in a team, utilizing my analytical senses, and developing empathetic relationships have all driven me to the field of accounting.
