However, that impact can differ in how it is told and how it is written. PAST-As I was growing up, I thought being an athlete was in the realm of possibilities. However, I quickly realized I needed a backup plan. The goal that was always on my mind was to be a part of people, but not in a way such as medically. Instead, I wanted to do that through stories and journalism to engage and build a community of news. PRESENT-Now I am a senior student who is looking to impact audiences, bring my unique perspective into producing content that is reliable, and provide work that is full of truth in journalism. I have been a part of three internships and have had experience freelancing. FUTURE-Skills I am continuing to develop through my experience include public speaking, social media, podcasts, writing stories, interviewing, and being someone who can be trusted by any employer.
