I was primarily responsible for working with and maintaining professional photo printers and laboratory equipment, creating a variety of photo products, as well as teaching photo and video classes. As time passed, I also took part in training new employees as well, educating them on correct processes and methods to allow projects to be done better and more efficiently.

This seasonal job taught me many important skills and lessons; it was a formative experience testing my leadership skills, whether that be to the campers, ranging from 3rd grade to high school, or to other staff members. I was required to lead a cabin of kids every week, guiding them through various activities while also preparing and teaching lessons. As the seasons passed, I became a senior member of the counseling staff, taking on more responsibility in the running of the weekly camps and acted as a mentor for the younger counselors and other staff members in addition to my regular duties.

Before I moved away from Redding to go to school in Sacramento, I assisted in redesigning the realty company's website, created templates for future listings, and toured various locations around the city to shoot photographs for clients. While it was a temporary position, it was a valuable learning experience in seeing how realty companies operate, and I gained insight into the many processes required in doing business in that field.
