Used Angular to rewrite a front end system for a manufacturing company to track parts, tests and certifications for assembly.Setup software projects on Bitbucket/Sourcetree with builds and deployments through Bamboo, out to Azure sites. Used AngularJS to develop a web front end to expand the capabilities of a desktop application. It also utilized DevExpress’s grid. It called web services to retrieve and update data, for the building, testing and tracking of parts.Replaced a VB console application and computer hardware with C# service and Serial to Network module to retrieve data from production equipment and insert it into a database. Updated SSRS reports, Researched various options to upgrade an replace different aging technologies currently in use. Monitored Fioriano jobs moving data between systems.Wrote interfaces for Lake Superior College (LSC) to communicate student financial aid information to the book store (web services), and get back purchases made by the students.Developed a Freight Carrier Directory for tracking carrier specific information for a transportation logistics company: • Written using MVC 5 (C#) and Entity Framework, and Telerik tools, designed database with code first approach. • A map page was designed using Telerik Silverlight RadMap, BingMapProvider and web services. • The Map both displays the current Carrier locations and allows adding new Carriers. The map page also will update Latitude and Longitude in the database for any addresses that are missing these values via the BingMapProvider.

Brown Printing was bought by Quad/Graphics and my duties remained the same as with Brown. Worked on the integration of moving Brown to QG tools.

As part of the Distribution Team at Brown Printing, I helped design and architect the Mail Management System (MMS) in C# with WPF with an Oracle back end. MMS is a task based system to replace a handful of smaller systems that require lots of user interaction. Phase one adds automation and a centralized console for end users dealing with Mail.dats. More automation will be added as tasks are created by capturing end user knowledge. I am the C# Content Lead, and my responsibilities include: Arranging and leading code reviews. Setting standards for C# Code and leading discussions Researching best practices Collecting and Standardizing libraries for all developers Finding tools to help improve development time and keep standardsI designed and wrote ClipperMerge which was successfully implemented. Before ClipperMerge employees were taking between 20-40 hours to do the work by hand, much of it paid overtime. It automated the process down to less than 2 hours.

Software Engineer. Develop and support Meter Management System (MMS), Gas Compliance System (GCS) in both SQL Windows and .Net (C#, ASP.Net) against an Oracle Database. Other duties include hardware and software support for enterprise equipment including proprietary machines, PC Provers and Sonic Provers.

Stocked the shelves, ran forklift, rotated stock in the cooler and freezers.
