I used to secretly beg to be called on in class to read aloud (all the way through college). One of my favorite parts of becoming a dad has been getting to read books aloud to my kids. When my eldest son was born, I read him the entire Harry Potter series (at that time the real scary ones hadn't been published yet). I love using my voice to bring life and animation to written text. When not in my home studio recording or editing, I can usually be found in the kitchen baking, at a piano making noise, in the woods walking with up to four dogs at a time, reading books to my kids, dancing with my wife (we’re in a burlesque troupe), or contemplating the wild wonder of this crazy world.
