-Reached 1 million in sales for markets that weren’t successful for 4 years consecutively-Over 40% of sales goal reached was new business through sales solicitation-Created new package for wedding business and exceeded goal by 134% (within package, wedding clients signed binding agreements with attrition)-Reached sales goal every quarter until March 2020-Revamped social media pages for hotel (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)-Focus on developing new Government, Corporate, SMERF, and Transient business-Conduct outside appointments/client dinners/ and or sales calls weekly-Maintain productive relationships with existing accounts and maintain their business-Assist DOS in preparing the Marketing Plan & Budget

• Responsible for analyzing & preparing a monthly report to a hotel community of 600+ members to track the booking pace and analytics of convention center and non-convention center business• Responsible for analyzing & preparing a quarterly report for senior leadership and board of directors based off all sales and services departmental data• Solicit new meeting business in all markets, 10 room nights on peak and greater, and created new tentative business of 150,000+ room nights in 2017• Coordinate majority of departmental procedures to streamline efforts (assist with filtering and assembling information from all sales managers: PMF’s, Co-op’s, budget projections, weekly activity reporting, and others as needed)• Assist Convention Sales department as directed on special projects (trade show, special event activities, etc.)• Maintain the Sales Events Budget– track actual event spending, Co-op’s, and in-kind donations for projecting budget for following year.• Liaison and expert for all sales & services database inquires or reporting requests• Manage day to day sales support operations for a support team of 5; provide direction and guidance to support staff. Conduct Sales Support meetings bi-weekly

• Build seasonal and cultural promotions that support Destination DC’s brand strategy and the organization’s overall objectives• Position and sell Washington, DC as a destination for corporate and association meetings, and conventions, creating connections with customers through personal sales calls, trade shows and meaningful client events• Effectively service each member’s account, while offering dynamic tools, events and programs that enhance the overall value of their membership• Build relationships with tour operators, wholesalers, receptive operators, travel agents, sporting event organizers and travel service providers to increase domestic and international group and individual packaged travel
