I am the Director of Career Development at the University of California, Irvine School of Law. I formerly practiced in the Washington, D.C. and Miami offices of White & Case LLP, where I litigated international trade disputes before the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. International Trade Commission, Mexico's Secretaría de Economía, and the World Trade Organization. I interned at the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs at the United Nations Secretariat in New York, and with the Political Affairs Section of the U.S. Department of State at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. I received an LL.M. from Columbia University School of Law, where I specialized in public international law and human rights. I received my J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law and my A.B. from Grinnell College. I am professionally proficient in Spanish.
