Purchasing And Inventory Team Leader
Current- Identifies the root cause of inventory discrepancies and implements corrective action plans.- Implements inventory tools and systems for tracking, analyzing, and auditing data.- Responsible for overseeing and creating daily, weekly and bi-weekly cycle counts.- Analyzes inventory variances to ensure processes are followed appropriately.- Forecast and maintain appropriate inventory levels for over 80 suppliers.- Maintain an accurate cost log for all inventoried products.- Coordinate inbound deliveries at the most cost effective level.- Ensure products arrive in a timely manner for promotions, holidays, and special events.- Review all supplier and logistic invoices for discrepancies.- Oversee the transfer of product between warehouses to ensure inventory remains balanced.- Maintain an accurate cost log for all inventoried products.- Contact suppliers to resolve issues with damaged or defective products, shortages, and pricing errors.
